Accomplished Senior Technologist wanted for extensive new project with many challenges.
Challenging construction, location, timelines, existing buildings, new design, compliance, stakeholders, earthquakes and politics all make this a challenging project only for top level design people.
This is a complex combining commercial, retail, educational, arts and performance as well as hospitality and has a heady mix of complex modern and classic style.
The Company:
Normally known for setting the standard when it comes to designing many significant buildings in New Zealand, this firm has also been heavily involved behind the scenes in restoring whole areas of Christchurch back to, and beyond, the previous state.
Now, having been appointed to wave their magic wand on a number of key city projects, they are expanding the design team and increasing the skills and capacity for these new endeavours.
The Role:
The devil is in the detail and, when in this case, the detail involves developing 21st century design and splicing effectively with established iconic structures.
This particular project combines some existing high quality buildings and your role will be to work closely with engineers, architects and other professionals to develop full documentation to present, resolve and instruct the involved parties.
As Senior Technologist, you will join the team with the aim of taking responsibility for the development of the documentation from concepts and site surveys to final delivery.
